1. Introduction

Welcome to PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our services—including warehousing, commodity-backed financing, Electronic Warehouse Receipt (EWR) systems, and related agricultural services—you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • Client / You: Any farmer, trader, or business entity availing of our services.

  • Commodities: Agricultural produce such as Wheat, Maize (Corn), Rice, and Paddy stored in our certified warehouses.

  • Warehouse Receipt (WR): A physical or electronic proof of ownership for stored commodities.

  • Electronic Warehouse Receipt (EWR): A digital, transferable, and legally recognized proof of ownership issued by PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.

3. Service Scope

Our core services include:

  • Secure agricultural warehousing

  • Commodity-backed financing assistance

  • Electronic Warehouse Receipt (EWR) issuance and management

  • Quality control and inspection services

  • Agricultural and financial advisory services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion, with or without prior notice.

4. Storage and Handling Policy

  • Commodities must be properly cleaned and prepared before deposit.

  • Upon receipt, commodities are inspected, weighed, and graded scientifically.

  • Storage is provided under controlled temperature and moisture conditions.

  • PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED will take reasonable measures to protect commodities from theft, fire, or damage; however, liability is limited as described in Section 8.

5. Warehouse Receipts & EWR

  • A Warehouse Receipt (WR) or EWR will be issued upon deposit.

  • Ownership of the stored commodities remains with the depositor unless transferred through a legally valid EWR process.

  • Any dispute over ownership will be subject to documentation and official records maintained by PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.

6. Financing and Collateral

  • Clients may use their stored commodities or EWR as collateral for financing through approved financial institutions.

  • PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED does not guarantee loan approval or specific financing terms.

  • All financing arrangements are subject to verification and lender discretion.

7. Fees and Payments

  • Storage, inspection, and service charges are billed as per the prevailing rate card at the time of service.

  • Payment terms must be honored as communicated in the service agreement or invoice.

  • Late payments may result in penalties or suspension of services.

8. Liability and Risk

  • While all reasonable precautions are taken to safeguard commodities, we are not liable for losses caused by natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions, or other events beyond our control.

  • Insurance coverage, if required, must be requested and paid for separately by the client.

  • The company’s liability for loss or damage shall not exceed the declared value of the stored commodities.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding commodities and ownership.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable agricultural and financial regulations.

  • Collect commodities within the agreed period after notice of release or expiry of the storage contract.

10. Data Privacy and Confidentiality

All client data, including transaction and commodity information, will be handled with strict confidentiality.
We use digital records (including EWR) under secure systems compliant with relevant data protection regulations.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration under Pakistani law, with jurisdiction in Lahore.

12. Termination

PAK GRAIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if a client violates these Terms, provides false information, or fails to meet payment or contractual obligations.

13. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our official communication channels and take effect immediately upon posting.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and all related agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
